July 20, 2012, The Logan County Board of Realtors has released numbers which show local home sales have inproved over the same time period last year. The second quarter of 2012 saw improved home sales compared to 2011 for the same time period.

®REALTORS in Logan County Board of REALTORS sold 85 homes in the second quarter of 2012, 18 more than the 67 sold during the same time period in 2011.

The average selling price for homes in the 2012 time period was $85,892, up from $80,813 in 2011. Median prices were up as well, but to a lesser degree, $74,000 compared to $73,000.

The length of time that the average home was on the market also saw improvement with the average "Days on Market" in 2012 159 days. This was 64 days quicker than the same time period in 2011.
